Growing Potatoes for Fun and Flavor

Potatoes are pretty easy to grow and you don’t need a large garden plot to grow them. You may already be used to the idea of “container gardening.”

Growing tomatoes in a pot on your deck or enjoying small containers of herbs thriving on a windowsill are an experience many of us share.

If you can do that, you can also grow a crop of potatoes in a small space. Here are three fun ideas for growing potatoes that you and your family will enjoy:

While the fun of growing your own is part of the reason we do it, the flavor of new potatoes…boiled in their tender skins and flavored with a bit of butter and herbs…is worth it.
