Wayne's Mashed Potatoe's

by Wayne
(Woodland CA)

8 or so firm Russet potatoes peeled and halved.
Boil in salted water.
Drain well when done.

Use a hand masher - not an electric mixer!

I highly recommend 1 can (condensed) milk. Add more regular milk if needed.
Salt and pepper
1/2 cube butter
Seasoned salt

Additionally, I add any or all of the following:

Ranch dressing (bottled or dry)
Sour cream
Grated cheese

Leftovers are awesome when smashed into patties and fried in a little oil and butter until golden crisp on each side.

I always get compliments.... "best mashed potatoes I've ever had!"
