Tater Tot Casserole Recipe
This Tater Tot casserole recipe is a great side dish you can make using any frozen shredded or hash brown potatoes. "Tater Tots" is a registered trademark for a commercial form of hash browns. You can also make this potato casserole with your own freshly grated potatoes. Tater Tots are popular for their crispiness, cylindrical shape and small size. They are often a favorite with kids.
Cheesy Tater Tot Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
1 30 oz. bag frozen 'Tater Tot' potatoes
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cups sour cream
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cups crushed corn flakes
3 green onions, (tops and most of the green part), chopped
1/4 cup butter, melted
Directions:
Combine soup, sour cream, salt, pepper, green onions and cheese in a large mixing bowl. Add Tater Tot frozen potatoes and stir into soup mixture.
Place in a greased 13 x 9' baking dish or casserole.
Mix butter and cornflakes together and sprinkle over other Tater Tot casserole ingredients.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or until bubbly around the edges.
Serves 6
